Bucharest "Henri Coandă" International Airport (OTP) is located at 17 km from the City Centre.



Getting to the City Center by Bus (public transportation)

Take the 783 Express Line from Bucharest "Henri Coandă" International Airport to the City Centre. The bus stop is in front of the Arrivals and Departures Terminal and runs every 14 minutes during the day, 40 minutes during the night and it takes 35-45 minutes to get to the City Center.
The price for one trip is about 5 lei (~ 1€). Tickets can be bought at the card desk in front of the Arrivals Terminal or through the 24pay app for Android OS, IOS and Huawei AppGalery.
Make sure your ticket is validated before boarding the bus. The closest bus station to our conference place is Piața Romană.

Getting to the City Center by Taxi

Licensed taxis will be available for passengers arriving at Bucharest "Henri Coandă" International Airport.
At the Arrivals Hall, there is a yellow vending machine/touchpoint, where you can choose the taxi company and price per km you want to pay. You will find prices ranging from 2.29 to 3.50 lei/km, without prior order.
Taxis will wait passengers at the taxi ranks located at the exit of the terminal.



Getting to the City Center by Train

The train provides a fast connection between Henri Coanda airport and the "North Railway Station" in Bucharest (the station is shared with the Bucharest metro lines).
Trains run 24 hours a day at 40-minute intervals. Journey time is approx. 20 minutes and costs 5 lei (~ 1€).
Tickets can be bought online , through the dedicated Android OS app, directly from the train, at the ticket office or from ticket vending machines.

Travel by car

If you come by car to Romania, bring your driving license, car documents and green card.
International regulations of the Convention for the Customs Facilities for Tourist Traffic are applicable in Romania.
Highly valuable goods and foreign currency must be declared when entering the country. More details on Romanian customs can be found on the Customs website.
